Two vs. Three Standoffs

Standoff count is application-based rather than determined by panel size or weight. Two standoffs are suitable for the majority of installations. For pulls over 24″ in the 1″ diameter — particularly on built-in refrigerator panels (e.g., Sub-Zero integrated) — three standoffs may be recommended for additional support. In the 1-1/4″ diameter, two standoffs are sufficient for all lengths; a third is an aesthetic choice.
