Description

The BASICS LBWC50 Indicator Thumb Turn & Release by Formani is a thumb turn and release with a vacant/engaged (red/green) indicator. Compatible with both European mortise locks and North American tubular bolts. Part of the BASICS collection — a full range of hardware and accessories for doors, windows, furniture, and cabinetry.

Compatible Latches

• Euro Mortise WC Privacy Lock — requires quarter disc
• Heavy Duty Mortise Bolt — requires half disc

Spindle Notes

• 5 mm spindle pairs with tubular mechanisms
• 8 mm spindle pairs with Euro mortise mechanisms
• All thumb turns paired with tubular bolts should use half discs
• All thumb turns paired with mortise bolts should use quarter discs
• North American mortise locks will need to be modified to a 5 mm square or star hub

Important: European roses are typically smaller than standard North American models, with many measuring approximately 50 mm in diameter. Rose sizes can vary by brand and range, so please review all dimensions carefully. These handles may not fit existing or pre-bored door holes without adjustments.
